I forgot all about this song and this live performance. This was all I was listening to back then. I copied the URL and used a converter website so I could put this on my MP3 (as we did back then). I came upon this by total accident today and was blown away by the memories. Can’t believe I forgot about this amazing song/performance.

I saw a performance with Diana as Penny last month here on RUclips and I thought she did a good job with it! I do prefer the Broadway version over the 2007 movie but they equally good overall.

"I Believe" is way better than "Dreams". IMO, Fantasia did better in both songs. Her energy and raspy "church-preacher-like" voice just gives out a more dramatic performance which is what is needed for a season finale. Nevertheless, Diana is still an awesome singer for the strength of her voice, technique and incredibly long notes. Among the five 16/17 y.o. to reach the finale, Diana is the best...
